[04.30.07] Monday morning in the office...Pao messaged me na may alon sa LU. Excited Karen immediately called Omar to confirm the "surfability of ze waves" and Omar said, "4 to 5 feet overhead" coz of the previous night's full moon magnetism (woah!). WTF??? It's labor day the next day so LET'S GO!!!

[05.01.07 Labor Day]
Challenge #1: THE CAR
Among all the TSCs, only Pao, Mons & I were free to go. Pao's civic is lowered and so is mine. But what the heck, there's only 3 of us and 2 boards to load so GAME! Red Demon can handle that.

Challenge #2: THE DRIVER
Pao was complaining that it would be a struggle to drive 12 hours with no sub coz his car is manual and I only drive matic. Mons can't drive. The last resort was to bring Maxine so Pao & I can take turns driving. Maxine's so maselan with one of my tires in need to be vulcanized and a prob, I guess, with my radiator cap or my water pump. Anyways, we're stoked so SIGE LANG!

CHALLENGE #3: THE TRIP TO LA UNION
We all had no sense of direction and made a wrong turn exiting NLEX (haha halatang laging mga tulog sa ibang trips). Pao called Pawie just to hear Pawie say "bat kayo jan dumaan eh tambakan ng patay yan". Waaaah!!! Yikes! Saw Maxine's temp rising and we had to stop somewhere scary. Changed my radiator cap. Pao had to make igib somewhere. We had to put water in my radiator & reservoir every 2 hours and had to check on my problem tire every now and then.

Oh well...so much for those challenges! We got to LU and back safe so congrats to us!

Lesson learned: LU day trips are crazy.
