My BEST surf trip to date! My beloved Darcy's back in shape...thanks to Mr. Kazuo Akinaga's 15 years of expertise (isa kang alamat ;) And as Spencer said...what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. That goes for you Darz!!! Mama swears never to ding you again ;)

So to La Union we went despite the week-long dark blue wave forecasts and true as it it is...pag love ka ni God, bibigyan ka talaga nya ng alon! Hahaha Ü Steady waves & steady surfing time with even steadier friends.

Major highlights of my 3rd time to surf (naks yabang! hahaha sorry super saya ko eh =P):

#1: Not that related but super funny: Was Jeff's sub on the way to LU. So when it was Jeff's & Pawie's turn to sleep, it was me behind the wheel and Kay as the navigator. Picture away still haha...muntik na tuloy mabangga (caught pa on cam). Check out that crazy pic below!

#2: SATURDAY MORNING: Thanks to Master Chris, I can now wall. *Bow*

#3 SATURDAY AFTERNOON: Guess where I first caught my own wave by paddling on my own - no tulaks & with Master Chris nowhere insight? At THE POINT! Waaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! I'm so happy!!!!!!! Thank you Pawie for that buena mano, for telling me that big wave was coming and to start paddling. Muaaaaah! Goodbye to push-induced rides! :)

#4 SUNDAY MORNING: Was able to read the wave, watch it, catch it & ride it...all on my own. I'm so happy, I could cry :'( I've never had so much fun in my life. All these coz of you, Master Chris (you truly are THE BEST!) and my dearest Torta Surfing Crew and the useful tips and motivation that I get from you! (Bwahaha akala mo nanalo ng competition kung mag thank you eh! Hahaha =P)
